We’re not sure why any company would name a line of bags “Horror,” but that doesn’t change the fact that Crumpler’s Apple-exclusive Cut of Horror ($130), Flock of Horror ($120), and Pinnacle of Horror ($130) are pretty nice ways to carry your Mac. All three are made of heavy-duty polyester with a water-resistant coating, and come in tan, black, or blue. Flock of Horror will hold up to a 13” MacBook, Air, or Pro,…

Create A Personal Google Maps Pin Map With Your Foursquare Check-Ins

To utilize Foursquare to create pin map, just follow these instructions:Login to your Foursquare profile from an internet browserNow that you’re logged in, go to your feeds page. To find your feeds from your profile, you can click on “History”, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the RSS icon to access your feeds.Copy the .kml feed the second one and paste it into the Google Maps search bar. Before you start the search, add “?count=5000″ to the end of the feed url minus the quotes. You can edit this number to your liking; it just specifies the number of check-ins that will be displayed.Now your pin map should be displayed. If you just wanted to view it for yourself, you’re done. If you want to display it, you can click “Link” in the upper-right corner and grab the HTML embed code. Then you can put it on a website, like I’ve done below.That’s it! You now have a digitized pin map. Since Google Maps is pulling data from your check-in feed, a new pin will be automatically added to the map every time you check in. If you’re only interested in tracking your travels by city, you can simply check-in once at each place you visit. However, you might find yourself sucked in to Foursquare’s other features and start checking in everywhere. If you do, make sure you check your privacy settings to make sure you’re comfortable with them.

Inauguration 2013 suffers from donor fatigue

President Barack Obama cleared the way to let corporations give big money to his Inauguration, but there’s one problem: Corporate America isn’t in a giving mood.
Where President George W. Bush cleaned up for his second inaugural — 45 companies gave $250,000 each — only nine companies have ponied up for Obama’s. And donations from the deep-pocketed folks who helped Obama raise over $1 billion for his campaign haven’t been pouring in either….

Does the Lord go before us? Absolutely!

Deuteronemy 31:8 and the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

We know the Lord is always working in our lives, but many times we seem to forget or not notice that His hand is always upon us. Looking back, we see the Lord’s hand upon Jill and our family. What a blessing.

Once the doctor diagnosed the detaching retina, he told Jill to lay down and rest, until the surgery. He said gravity is an enemy of this situation, so lay down to minimize gravity and it’s effects on the detachment. Looking back, we see how the Lord protected Jill and her eye sight.

We normally walk in the evenings, Saturday we were planning on walking, but Jill’s ankle was bothering her (for no real reason), so we didn’t. Sunday, we were planning to go to Disneyland after church, for their 56th birthday, we ended up not going (us not going to Disneyland, unheard of). Monday, after making the initial appointment for 11am, the doctor called back and said come ASAP! Then the Retina Specialist was able to see us right away as well. After the diagnosis, normally the surgery would have been within 24hrs, but for some reason, he wanted the surgery done that night. He did not want to wait. When Jill went in to the surgery, the detachment had progressed to the point of her macular was close to becoming detached and probably loss of sight, permanently, was close. The doctors had not seen this rapid progressing detachment in the past, their decernment was only from the Lord. A few more hours, the situation would have been completely different.

Amazing how the Lord kept Jill off her feet Saturday and Sunday day and protected her Monday and Tuesday. Gave the doctors decernment in scheduling the surgery and made operating rooms available. The Lord also plans far in advance and gave me Tuesday off, over a week ago, to care for Jill after the surgery.

What an amazing blessing it is to watch the Lord’s hand at work. It all around us, we just need to open our eyes! Thank you Lord!

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
